Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Snaily, a desktop application provided by ApricotApps ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Snaily, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License to use

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Snaily on devices you own or control. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the app, or attempt to reverse-engineer it except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

2. Beta software

Snaily is offered free of charge while in beta. Beta software may contain bugs and is provided for evaluation. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time, and we may modify or discontinue the app without notice.

3. Your repositories and content

You retain all rights to the code, repositories, and other content you review with Snaily. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and work with any repository you open. Snaily processes this content locally on your device as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snaily to violate any law, infringe the rights of others, or interfere with the integrity or security of the app. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your installation, including any Git operations (such as commits, pushes, and branch deletions) you perform.

5. Third-party tools and services

Snaily integrates with third-party software you choose to install, including Git and coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and opencode. Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party tools, and any actions they take on your behalf are your responsibility.

6. Intellectual property

Snaily, including its name, logo, and software, is owned by ApricotApps and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Snaily is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will not result in data loss. Always review changes carefully and keep backups before performing destructive Git operations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApricotApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, code, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of Snaily, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using Snaily at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of Snaily after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
